Sydney, 2 months and a half later

Classé dans : Australie | 0

Hello,

So what happen since two months in Sydney ?

Let me just tell you first that, my arrival in Sydney, was one of the best thing that happen since being in Australia. Finally a city where I have found a good job that I enjoy (already worked there in France). And thanks to that, my English level is now much better than when I started. I fell more confortable speaking, and I am now speaking fluently with people, which is for me a great accomplishment, trust me.

I have discovered Sydney slowly, and still discovering new places days after days. The beaches as well (Bondi, Manly…), bars, coffee shop and so much more.

I am lucky enough to leave in the CBD, so close to everything, and close to every tentations as well, how can I resist the Sunday Morning Flat White ritual, or sushi at night when you can’t get bother cooking…

I am also lucky to have a beautiful view from my balcony. And that, I can be honest with you, is the best view I have ever had from a balcony! It will never get old to me. From day to night it is absolutely magical to have this view over buildings, and be able to see every little lights shining one after another when the sky become pink and then dark. The only think that is annoying leaving on the city is the constant noise…

Sydney is this big city, where it’s quit noisy, sometime with lots of pollution, everything move constantly, but it’s also really peaceful and nice to leave in such a beautiful city. And now, I can totally understand why people love to live here.

The good point of being here at this time of the year, is that I had the opportunity to go swim in the ocean on the 25th of December, and I can also change beach whenever I want to. Beaches are everywhere here, so you take a train, bus or ferry you will always end up on a beach (careful, there is some little nice bulls shark near Sydney… well even on the harbour actually!)

I had the chance to realise two of my little girl dream, seeing the Opera House and The Harbour Bridge from Circular Quay, and also swimming on the Iceberg Pool in Bondi. And I can tell you without any doubt that Circular Quay is one of my favorite place to be in Sydney (maybe after my bed …)

Well I won’t tell you that enough but Sydney is definitely one of this city that you like if you are a city kid (which I am), everything here is made to be loved. And it gave me a lot of energy to accomplish more things (look the blog is now in French and English right?), I have made so much new decisions for my life since I am here and it’s really good , trust me !

Xx
